Nice stuff. I went to the ‘24 Power Design exhibition at the Japan House in London this summer, which was fascinating. And I agree that the Ambidextrous watch seemed like the most likely contender to make it into production. Although I also had a soft spot for the one that doubled as a wrist-based masking tape holder…
I had no idea Japan House would exhibit the Power Design watches - thanks for letting me know! I used to live a five minute walk from it, but haven't been in several years. The sticker tape watch is about as niche as a watch could get - actually, perhaps that honour is shared with the pin cushion one from the same 2024 competition?
That's kind of you to say - thank you! The TiCTAC watches are very popular in Japan, so I'm not surprised they're gaining momentum in the West. Obviously TiCTAC means nothing to Western audiences, but the minimalist Alpinist design carries a lot of weight. I still have one TiCTAC for sale on the website if that interests you, and if not, hopefully I'll include something in the newsletter that does!

Yes-in fact the Ambidextrous one was the only one that wasn’t a pure bluesky design exercise.
I very much enjoy what you’re doing, and regularly admire your watches for sale-particularly the Tic-Tac recently.
